Jeff Bridges and Olivia Wilde attend Tron: Legacy UK Premiere

London's Leicester Square was taken over tonight by the UK premiere of Tron: Legacy held at the Empire cinema. The most eagerly anticipated movie event of 2010, the sequel has been 28 years in the making. Jeff Bridges reprises his role of Kevin Flynn from the 1982 original. In Tron: Legacy he plays the dual role of Kevin Flynn and his maniacal creation Clu.

Hosted by UK radio DJ Edith Bowman the blue carpet event was streamed live online and had Hollywood legend Jeff Bridges in attendance. When asked what it was like to see himself as his 35 year old self and his 60 year old self on screen together, Jeff Bridges said "Remember when you first heard yourself on a tape recorder, it's a bit like that, it grates on the fur a little bit."
Concept Designer Daniel Simon said that the biggest challenge was containing his excitement when going to work.

Also in attendance were three members of the cast of Glee; Amber Riley, Kevin McHale and Jenna Ushkowitz when asked if they were excited about the film, McHale said "It's geeky awesomeness on steroids!" Amber his co star confessed to being a huge gamer saying "I'm a cyber geek, Transformers is my favourite game."

Tron: Legacy is a 3D high-tech adventure set in a digital world thats unlike anything ever captured on the big screen. Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), looks into his fathers disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years.
