Friends favourite Jennifer Aniston who was last seen in Cake, has signed on to star in the big screen adaptation of Liane Moriarty's best-selling book What Alice Forgot!

The Hollywood Reporter report that What Alice Forgot is still in the early stages of development with If I Stay's Shauna Cross penning the first draft of the script, reports suggest that Tri-Star are on the look out for a rewrite.

What Alice Forgot is the story of Alice who after a bang on the head at the gym, the 40-year-old wakes up thinking she's 25 and pregnant with her first child, but instead she's a mother of three who is about to get divorced and her life is completely different.

Aniston is filming Alexandre Moors’ War Drama The Yellow Birds with Jack Huston and Garry Marshall’s Mother's Day and she will also appear in Sean Anders’ Mean Moms and The Comedian alongside Robert De Niro.
