Jennifer Lawrence is Mystique in ‘X-Men: First Class’
Relative newcomer, Jennifer Lawrence the breakout star of the indie drama, 'Winter’s Bone', has become the latest actor to join the cast of Matthew Vaughn’s 'X-Men: First Class'.
According to sources the lovely star will play none other than Mystique, the shape shifting mutant immortalized on screen by Rebecca Romijn in the 'X-Men' trilogy the character is the mother of Nightcrawler and a fairly significant player in the comic book universe, however Mystique was very much a supporting character in the Bryan Singer/Brett Ratner films.
Other casting reports are that the long rumoured Kevin Bacon is indeed playing the villain of the story, but who will he be? A lot of people think Mister Sister but a lot of people think Sebastian Shaw the leader of the Hellfire Club, we can expect it all to become clear at this years Comic Con.
