Jesse maybe remembered for shooting to fame in hit show Desperate Housewives as John Rowland, who famously had an affair with Eva Longoria’s character Gabrielle Solis when he was still a student.
As we reported earlier today, It was recently confirmed the upcoming eighth season of the programme will be the last, but it’s not something that has upset Jesse.
“The show’s had a great run. Eight seasons - that’s amazing. Personally I’m not very sad, and I’m sure all the actors on the show are ready to move on,” he said.
“I’m sure everybody involved in the show will have something to move on to.”
Jesse was last seen on Desperate Housewives in season six but is clearly eager to move on himself and will no doubt find similar heights of fame with the Dallas reboot.
He's also spoken about how working with Dallas veterans Larry Hagman, Linda Gray and Patrick Duffy was a dream come true.
“Larry, Linda and Patrick are all incredible. They’re all very, very good friends and have been through all these years. They are all very enthusiastic on set, very supportive. They’re happy to be doing the show. They waited a long time because there’s been a lot of talk of bringing it back but they waited for the right script.” he told UK TV show This Morning.
Jesse can be see in Dallas next year as well as crime drama Chase which hits our screens later this year.
