STRAIGHT FROM CINEMAS: JOANNA HOGG’S ‘THE SOUVENIR’ COMES TO MUBI ON FRIDAY 25 OCTOBER

Joanna Hogg’s hugely acclaimed film THE SOUVENIR starring Honor Swinton Bryne, Tom Burke and Tilda Swinton is coming to curated streaming service MUBI this Friday 25 October. Following a successful theatrical launch by Curzon, the film will arrive on MUBI straight from cinemas.

Winner of the Sundance Grand Jury Prize in 2019, THE SOUVENIR is the compelling, semi-autobiographical drama by award-winning director/writer Joanna Hogg (UNRELATED, ARCHIPELAGO, EXHIBITION).

A young, quietly ambitious film student (Honor Swinton Byrne) embarks on her first serious love affair with a charismatic and mysterious man (Tom Burke). She tries to disentangle fact from fiction as she surrenders to the relationship, which comes dangerously close to destroying her dreams.
