Jodi Benson wants to return as Barbie in Toy Story 4 or a Barbie spinoff
Talented actress Jodi Benson who is best known for voicing Ariel in The Little Mermaid and Mattel's Barbie doll in Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3 and the short Hawaiian Vacation has said she would be happy to reprise her role of Barbie in Toy Story 4 or a spinoff for her character.
When asked by Digital Spy if Barbie could have her own spinoff, Benson said "Oh, gosh, I don't know, but that would be really fun.
If it has to do with Disney Pixar and John Lasseter I'm all on board!"
Speaking about her admiration for the Toy Story franchise, she added "It's a wonderful, incredible series, and it's primarily because of the brilliance of John Lasseter and his amazing gift that he has to tell stories.
It has so much heart to it. We're hoping that we have a number four. It'd be incredible."
While there are rumours of a fourth entry in the Toy Story series, Disney have said that there is no official confirmation yet, but judging by the success of the series, it is only a matter of time.
Benson will reprise her role of Barbie for the 30 minute film Toy Story of Terror which airs on ABC in October.
