Johnny Depp to sign again in Sondheim’s Into the Woods

Johnny Depp was superb as the all-singing, all-murdering demon barber of Fleet Street, Sweeney Todd - Stephen Sondheim's classic musical. Depp's performance won him a Golden Globe for Best Actor, and an Academy Award nomination.
Word is, we could be seeing him in another all-singing musical.. he is set to join James Corden, Emily Blunt and Meryl Streep in the upcoming movie version of Sondheim's "Into the Woods".
Oscar-winner Rob Marshall, who previously directed Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, helms the adaptation, which begins filming in London in September.
