Jon Favreau set to return to Marvel Cinematic Universe as Happy Hogan in Jon Watts’ Spider-Man: Homecoming

Whilst he Directed one of the best films of the year with Disney’s The Jungle Book, it has been reported that Acclaimed filmmaker Jon Favreau will reprise his role of Happy Hogan in Jon Watts’ Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Favreau directed the MCU films Iron Man and Iron Man 2 and according to Variety the fan favourite filmmaker will join Robert Downey Jr. in the eagerly awaited Marvel and Sony produced superhero outing alongside Tom Holland.
Favreau was last seen as Happy Hogan in Iron Man 3, where he was enjoying a little Downton Abbey after waking up from a coma after being caught in an explosion, so it will be nice to check in with him.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Homecoming is set to hit Cinemas on July 7 2017 and is currently in production in Atlanta and will see Peter Parker (Holland) attempting to balance his high-school life with his life as Spider-Man and features Zendaya, Angourie Rice, Donald Glover, Martin Starr, Logan Marshall-Green, Tony Revolori, Hannibal Buress, Bokeem Woodbine, Abraham Attah with Marisa Tomei and Michael Keaton.
