Josh Brolin teases the return of Thanos, the Mad Titan Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe

08 August 2014

Following the staggering success of Guardians of the Galaxy, Josh Brolin who portrays Marvel Cinematic Universe's big bad Thanos has teased the future of Thanos in Marvel Studios films.

The Sin City: A Dame to Kill For and No Country for Old Men actor who made his debut as the Mad Titan in the colossal hit opened up about the character's one true love and revealed that he knows when his next appearance will be telling IGN "His relationship with Death, who is actually the woman, I love that.

You can take Sin City and pump it full of steroids, and then you have Thanos. I like that he's motivated by that - not just motivated by destruction or death or this or that. He's motivated by a very identifiable, human trait."

He was cast in the role of Thanos for Guardians of the Galaxy, after the villain appeared in the post-credits Avengers Assemble scene portrayed by Damion Poitier, and talking about his return as the Mad Titan, Brolin added "I know what one appearance is going to be for sure, there's one or two that I don't know."
