Joy’s Jennifer Lawrence debunks feud rumours with David O Russell

The Hunger Games franchise heroine Jennifer Lawrence has spoken out to deny the rumours that there is friction between herself and David O Russell on the set of her forthcoming film Joy.
Taking to Facebook, the gorgeous sought after actress described the director as one of her "closest friends", and said that she's "having a blast" making the biopic writing "Hey guys, it's Jen! I know I don't go on here a lot because I can barely work email but there's been a terrible rumour going around the last 24 hours so I wanted to clear it up.
David O Russell is one of my closest friends and we have an amazing collaborative working relationship. I adore this man and he does not deserve this tabloid malarkey.
This movie is going great and I'm having a blast making it!"
Lawrence who returns to her role of Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 this November, created the Facebook post after TMZ reported that the pair had been arguing on set as a form of method acting.
Joy marks the third collaboration with Lawrence, O. Russell, DeNiro and Cooper and is the emotionally, compelling and often comedic journey of a woman who triumphed over personal and financial challenges by inventing the "Miracle Mop," which she sold on QVC and went on to become a hugely successful entrepreneur. Joy hits cinemas on New Years Day and reunites Lawrence with her Silver Linings Playbook co stars Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro.
Rounding out the cast are Édgar Ramírez, Diane Ladd and Angel alumni Elisabeth Röhm.
