Julia Ormond wanted for Lara Lor-Van in Superman: Man of Steel

Emmy Award winner Julia Ormond is reportedly in talks to join Henry Cavill in the eagerly anticipated Zack Snyder Superman reboot.
If she signs the Temple Grandin award winner will play the Kryptonian mother of Kal-El - Lara Lor-Van alongside the previously wanted Russell Crowe as Jor-El.
Should they sign, they will join the ensemble cast of Amy Adams as Lois Lane, diane Lane and Kevin Cosner as Martha and Jonathan Kent and Michael Shannon as the villainous General Zod.
Written by David S. Goyer, the Man of steel reboot will fly into cinemas in December next year.
