Julianne Moore and Annette Bening to receive prestigious acting awards in Rome and Hollywood

Julianne Moore, must have been in high spirits as she shopped in New York, as she is due to receive her Lifetime Achievement Award in Rome this month. The Kids Are Alright star who is best known for some of her stunning performances in films like Boogie Nights, The End Of The Affair, Far From Heaven, The Hours and A Single Man, is being recognised with The Marcus Aurelius Award for Lifetime Achievement and will be presented to Miss Moore at the 2010 International Rome Film Festival, The Wrap reports.

Moore will presenting her new Film The Kids Are All right, a modern family drama comedy, about a gay parent family, in which she stars along side Annette Benning and Mark Ruffalo. The Festival runs from the 28th of October to the 5th of November. Moore is not the only star of Lisa Cholodenko's comedy-drama to be presented an award. Annette Bening who plays one half of the gay couple with Moore, is also receiving the Hollywood Actress Award at the Hollywood Film Festival's Hollywood Awards gala just days before Moore is due to receive her award in Rome.
The Kids Are Alright is released in UK cinemas on the 29th October this year.
