Kate Beckinsale’s fifth Underworld franchise entry officially titled Underworld: Blood Wars ahead of October release

The fifth entry in the Underworld franchise previously carried the title Underworld: Next Generation has now been given a new title with word that it will now be titled Underworld: Blood Wars.

Due for release on February 3, Underworld: Blood Wars will see Kate Beckinsale, Charles Dance and Theo James return to their respective roles and joined by Sherlock’s Lara Pulver, iZombie’s Bradley James, Da Vinci's Demons’ James Faulkner and Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit’s Peter Andersson.

Directed by Anna Foerster Underworld: Blood Wars will see Selene (Beckinsale) and hybrid vampire sidekick David (James) find themselves torn between new Lycan leader Marius (Tobias Menzies), vampire elder Thomas (Charles Dance) and a dangerous rogue vamp (Lara Pulver).
