Kate Bosworth set to play James Franco’s sister in Homefront
While she returns to cinemas with the ensemble comedy Movie 43 on February 1, it has emerged that gorgeous actress Kate Bosworth famed for the likes of 21, L!fe Happens and Straw Dogs has joined the cast Homefront.
Homefront stars James Franco and Jason Statham in a story that sees Statham as a former DEA agent who goes head-to-head with Franco's drug kingpin.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bosworth will take on the role of Franco's meth addicted sister who starts the feud.
The Expendables 2 hero Sylvester Stallone wrote the screenplay and will serve as executive producer of Homefront which will be directed by Runaway Jury's Gary Fleder.
Expected to hit cinemas in 2013, Homefront will also star Winona Ryder and Frank Grillo.
As for Bosworth, while she returns to cinemas with Elizabeth Banks's aforementioned Movie 43 she also has Michael Polish's drama Big Sur in post production, which will see her as Billie alongside Radha Mitchell's Carolyn Cassady in a film that recounts the events surrounding Jack Kerouac's three brief sojourns to a cabin in Big Sur, California.
