Katherine Heigl leaves Grey’s Anatomy for Good
Katherine Heigl finally confirms that she is leaving Grey's Anatomy.
"I am done," the 31-year-old actress tells EW. "We just finalized our agreement. Everyone had been working really hard to find an amicable and gracious way of letting go and moving on. It's sad but it's what I wanted."
Heigl added, "I started a family and it changed everything for me. It changed my desire to work full-time. I know I'm disappointing the fans. I just had to make a choice. I hope I made the right one." (She adopted daughter Naleigh late last year.)
Heigl can next been seen opposite Ashton Kutcher in KILLERS, die for release in June.
ABC insiders confirm that although Heigl was slated to shoot five more episodes this season, her final episode on the series aired Jan. 21st in the US.
Multiple sources have said that Heigl had been asking out of her Grey's contract for three years.. she finally gets out. Are you, the fans, going to miss her?
