Katie Holmes brought her parents along to a glitzy awards show last night where the 32-year-old actress picked up the Women in Film Face of the Future trophy. The award recognises her work in the industry and potential to have a long Hollywood career.
The star was understandably keen for her philanthropist mother and divorce lawyer father to share in her success.

Speaking to the Press at the event, which was held in the Beverly Hilton Hotel's International Ballroom, Holmes said she would like to play 'someone glamorous, a combination of Grace Kelly and Marilyn Monroe'.
Elle Fanning, Annette Bening, Brittany Snow, Rose McGowan, Geena Davis and Jenna Elfman, were also at the ceremony.
