Kill Your Darlings star Daniel Radcliffe unlikely to return as Harry Potter in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
Harry Potter franchise alumni Daniel Radcliffe has said it is unlikely that he will feature in the upcoming Harry Potter spinoff movie series Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
The Kill Your Darlings actor said in September that he is sure the producers and cast will have a "great time" making the spinoff, but stressed that he knew "absolutely nothing about it" and told The Hollywood Reporter that he does not expect to play Harry Potter again in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them explaining "I don't think I'm going to be coming back. We can't be doing these characters when we're 40, so there has to be a line drawn."
However Radcliffe has not ruled out returning to the wizarding world adding "I never know what Jo [Rowling] is going to write, but at the moment I'm in the same position that everyone else is in - waiting to hear what information is coming out because I don't know anything about these new films."
Kill Your Darlings opens on December 6 and features Elizabeth Olsen, Michael C. Hall, Dane DeHaan, Ben Foster, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Jack Huston, David Cross and Kyra Sedgwick.
