Kirsten Dunst reveals fears of turning 30

03 December 2011

Cannes Best Actress Award winner Kirsten Dunst famed for Interview with the Vampire, Small Soldiers, Jumanji, the Spider-Man trilogy and The Virgin Suicides has spoken Lucky Magazine about what scares her about entering her 30's.

The Melancholia actress turns 30 in April and faces the dilemma that she's ready to start a family but worries that guys her age might not be "I thought when I reached 30 I'd have a lot more figured out, until you have a kid, you're just looking for your partner. And guys have a Peter Pan vibe. They're 35, and they act like they're 25. That's what scares me about being in my 30s: not finding someone to have kids with."

Dunst who has been a huge Hollywood star since the age of 12, also fantasises about what a quiet family life would be like in the countryside north of New York City adding "I can't wait to relive life in a little kid's way, I'm so ready for that lifestyle: Get a little place upstate and have them go to school up there."

Right now it's about finding that special someone, however she reveals that her suitors often seem swayed by her hairstyles more than anything – like when she dyed her hair red for Spider-Man saying "I attract a different kind of boy when my hair's red, I get more quality men – like a more thoughtful, nerdy dude."

Dunst has Bachelorette, Upside Down and On the Road in post production and is gearing up to reunite with Orlando Bloom in Cities.
