Kirsten Dunst to be a cocaine snorting pick pocket

01 December 2010

Kirsten Dunst and Chloe Moretz are to star together in an adaptation of Andrea Portes' novel Hick.

Chloe Moretz is tipped for Oscar buzz in the film where she plays the lead character who runs away from home for the bright lights of Las Vegas - and gets more than she bargained for.

Kirsten Dunst's role has yet to be confirmed, but it seems likely that she'll play Glenda, a cocaine snorting pick pocket who takes the young runaway under her wing.

A to be confirmed star will take on the role of Eddie, once reserved for Colin Farrell, who abandoned it for Total Recall. Shooting is planned for February 2011.

Dunst can next be seen in All Good Things with Ryan Gosling, and has just shot the adaptation of Jack Kerouac's novel On The Road with Garrett Hedlund.
