Kristen Stewart overcame fear of horse-riding for Snow White and the Huntsman
Snow White and the Huntsman hits cinemas in June and Kristen Stewart who plays the titular heroine has revealed that she was terrified by some of her stunts in the epic fairytale adaptation.
The Twilight Saga hottie confessed she had to overcome her fear of horse-riding for the film and says at WonderCon "I got to jump off cliffs and ride horses, and that terrifies me, I was really, really not happy about having to do all that horseback riding. I don't like that - I hate that.
I fell off a horse once and hurt myself really badly. I broke and dislocated my elbow when I was, like, 9."
So how did she overcome her fears and anxieties? The actress reveals "I just had to not think about it. I wanted so badly to do this that it was just like, 'Alright, well, if I perish by horse, that's all good'."
Speaking about her admiration for her character, Stewart added "My favourite thing about Snow White is that she's endowed with so much and there's so much inside her. It's like she's brimming. She doesn't always necessarily know why.
I can - in so many different parts of my life - relate to that and love that about her. So it was cool to have that all behind kicking the s**t out of someone."
Snow White and the Huntsman also stars Chris Hemsworth, Ian McShane, Sam Claflin, Ray Winstone, Nick Frost, Bob Hoskins, Lily Cole, Eddie Marsan, Rachael Stirling and Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen.
