Kristen Stewart says it’s sad that Twilight series is ending

11 November 2011

She's currently filming Snow White and the Huntsman with Charlize Theron but Kristen Stewart has revealed that it's sad to know the Twilight film series that shot her to fame is coming to an end.

Speaking to Parade "It's weird that we are not waiting to go back and do another one, but at the same time, it feels finished. It's sad and it's not sad.

You sort of have to put yourself into those moments and realise that you should appreciate that they are going by. It's just time to move on, but I'm sure I'll talk about Twilight for the rest of my career."

She also revealed her hopes to spend more time writing adding "I still love to write. I've been working a lot, so I haven't moved to Sydney, Australia, like I've talked about. I had huge aspirations to go to school and I lost them.

I'm not a very rigid person, so I don't have good self-discipline, to be honest. I have to be forced to do things. But it's okay. I'm so happy and truly challenged, and those were my aspirations as a kid. I'm all good with where I am, I think."

The penultimate film in The Twilight Saga is out in a couple of weeks, while the second part that was shot simultaneously with the first part arrives on November 16 next year.

The Bill Condon directed two part finale stars an all star cast including Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Dakota Fanning, Maggie Grace, Ashley Greene, Anna Kendrick, Jackson Rathbone, Michael Sheen, Nikki Reed, Lee Pace, Kellan Lutz, Peter Facinelli, Billy Burke, Elizabeth Reaser, Joe Anderson, Rami Malek, Michael Welch, MyAnna Buring and Jamie Campbell Bower.
