Legendary Songstress FLORENCE FOSTER JENKINS confirmed to perform on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage as a special guest at this year’s Festival
Florence Foster Jenkins (soon to be played by Meryl Streep on the big screen) inspired some of the world’s most renowned artists ranging from Barbara Streisand to David Bowie, who listed her record, THE GLORY OF THE HUMAN VOICE, as one of his 25 favourite albums. David Bowie performed at the very first Glastonbury Festival in 1971 and later headlined in 2000.
Taking to the stage as a special guest at this year’s festival, rumours suggest that Florence may well be set to sing a duet with one of this year’s headline acts, Adele.
With a unique style of performance and a genuinely mind-blowing vocal range, this very special show is set to give rise to a whole new generation of adoring Florence Foster Jenkins fans.
