Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, and Amanda Seyfried are rumored to star together in The Great Gatsby, a story based on a novel and drected by Baz Luhrmann.
Leo is considering the role of Jay Gatsby, a self-made millionaire during the '20s who throws lavish parties to win the heart of his former lover, Daisy Buchanan (Amanda Seyfried). It's possible Tobey Maguire will play the narrator and Gatsby's neighbor, Nick Carraway.
Baz Luhrmann, who is a good friend of Maguire's, purchased the screen rights to the Fitzgerald classic in late 2008, though there has been little movement on the project until now.
