Leslie Mann and Kat Dennings set to voice Mother and Daughter in DreamWorks Animations’ The Croods 2

With a sequel to 2013’s hit animated comedy The Croods coming our way, it has been reported that Leslie Mann and Kat Dennings will lend their voices to the next Croodaceous era adventure.
The Hollywood Reporter state that the The This Is 40 and Two Broke Girls stars will voice members of a rival family to The Croods, with Mann onboard as the matriarch of the family, with Dennings featuring as the new family's daughter whose instinct to hunt is being suppressed.
The duo join returning cast members Emma Stone, Nicolas Cage and Ryan Reynolds, as well as Catherine Keener and Clark Duke, and in a statement from DreamWorks Animation, co-presidents of feature animation Bonnie Arnold and Mireille Soria shared their excitement for the new additions stating “Kat Dennings and Leslie Mann are both brilliant comedic actresses, and we're so excited to add them to the mix for The Croods 2, where they'll join an already stellar and hilarious returning cast."
Written and Directed once again by Kirk De Micco and Chris Sanders, The Croods 2 is due in cinemas on December 22 2017.
