Lily Collins says her Snow White will kick butt
English rose Lily Collins who will next be seen in action thriller Abduction with Taylor Lautner has promised she will "kick butt" as Snow White in the eagerly awaited Tarsem Singh adaptation.
She revealed the character is recognisable from the original story, she now has a tougher edge telling Total Film "Our film is based on the Brothers Grimm version. It's going to be exciting but it's also going to bring back a lot of memories.
She's the fairytale princess everyone knows but also very much a fighter. She teams up with the dwarves and learns how to fence, how to do acrobatics . She really gets to kick some butt in the end."
The gorgeous young actress, daughter of rock legend Phil Collins also admitted she still finds it hard to believe she is playing one of her childhood heroines adding "I still wake up every day going, 'Really? Am I really Snow White?' I grew up idolising her. I literally feel like I'm walking into a fairytale every day."
While The Brothers Grimm: Snow White won't arrive in cinemas until 2012, her next outing arrives the end of the month and features a star studded cast of Sigourney Weaver, Alfred Molina, Jason Isaacs, Maria Bello and Dermot Mulroney.
