Luke Grimes joins Maggie Grace in Taken sequel

09 November 2011

With casting well underway for the follow up to 2008 action thriller Taken, comes word that Luke Grimes known for his roles in All The Boys Love Mandy Lane and TV's Brothers & Sisters has joined the cast as the love interest of the lovely Maggie Grace.

The as yet untitled follow up sees Liam Neeson’s retired CIA agent Bryan Mills in even more deep water when he and his ex-wife (Famke Janssen) are themselves held hostage by the dad (newly cast Rade Sherbedgia) of one of the bad guys killed in that go-around. Looking to take revenge for his son’s death at Mills’ hands, he threatens to murder the couple. So this time it’s the turn of their daughter Kim (Grace) to somehow pull off a rescue attempt.

Oliver Megaton is calling the shots on this one, from a script by producer Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen.
