Maleficent’s Angelina Jolie reportedly teaming with Sir Kenneth Branagh for Hercule Poirot mystery Murder on the Orient Express
Hollywood icon Angelina Jolie who was last seen in By the Sea and heard as Tigress in Kung Fu Panda 3 is reportedly in talks to star in a new adaptation of Agatha Christie's novel Murder on the Orient Express!
According to many media outlets, Jolie is being eyed to star as beleaguered socialite Harriet Hubbard, a role made famous by Lauren Bacall in Sidney Lumet's 1974 film version of Murder on the Orient Express.
The new version of Murder on the Orient Express will be Directed by Sir Kenneth Branagh with Sir Ridley Scott and X-Men: Apocalypse’s Simon Kinberg on board as Producers.
Set for release on November 10 next year, the Hercule Poirot detective story is expected to begin Production in London this autumn and will chronicle an investigation into a mysterious death on a Europe-bound train.
Jolie is currently prepping production of her historical thriller First They Killed My Father for Netflix, the original film is about the horrors of Cambodia's Khmer Rouge regime.
