Man of Steel babe Amy Adams reveals insecurities
She can currently be seen as Lois Lane in Zack Snyder's Man of Steel and gorgeous star Amy Adams has opened about her struggle to overcome insecurity.
Speaking to Elle UK, the Oscar nominated actress explained that she has long dealt with shyness and a lack of self-confidence "Being an actress hasn't made me insecure, I was insecure long before I declared I was an actress. I like not being noticed.
It has been a struggle because I love performing, but if I'm in a group of people and someone has a bigger personality I'm like, 'Go ahead, and have fun!' It looks like a lotta work."
Adams also admitted that she feels very uncomfortable attending high-profile Hollywood events adding "I had an existential crisis at the Oscars, sitting next to Sean Penn and Meryl Streep and being like, 'What am I doing here? I don't belong here'."
Adams is currently filming Big Eyes for filmmaker Tim Burton, has Lullaby ready for release and Her and American Hustle in post production.
