Man of Steel’s Christopher Meloni joins Joseph Gordon-Levitt for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For
He'll next be seen as Colonel Hardy in Zack Snyder's eagerly anticipated Superman report Man of Steel and it has emerged that Christopher Meloni is set to join newly cast Joseph Gordon-Levitt for Robert Rodriguez's Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.
The Law & Order: SVU alumni will take on a lead role in the sequel, playing a cop report Deadline, and joins the returning cast of Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Jaime King and Rosario Dawson as well as new additions Jamie Chung and Dennis Haysbert.
Josh Brolin is also said to be on the directors' wishlist, while the filmmakers are still hopeful that more of the original cast will return.
Gordon-Levitt said in a statement about his role "I love how the first movie uses VFX, not to make fake things look real, but to create a heightened world unburdened by the look and feel of reality. Plus, nobody makes a badass like Mr Rodriguez."
Man of Steel opens on June 14 and features the stellar sat of Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Russell Crowe, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Michael Shannon and Harry Lennix.
