Margot Robbie weilds a bat on Suicide Squad set and more from the DCCU

It’s been a big week in the DC Cinematic Universe as David Ayer released the first picture of the Suicide Squad cast in costume and I have to say they look amazing. The stand out’s being Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and Adewale Akinnouye-Agbaje who’s playing Killer Croc.
I was worried much like King Shark, who’s rumoured to be in the film, Croc would be CGI, but the smarter and better move is to have Triple A in prosthetics as it makes Waylon Jones a person with an extreme form of the medical condition Epidermolytic Hyperkeratosis and not a monster.
There’s not really much you can say about Robbie apart from she is Harley Quinn and if you look at the on set pictures you can see how incredible she will be in Suicide Squad.
The man who created the character Bruce Timm had his worries put aside “I'm actually really excited. I just today, just before the show started, saw the first image of Harley Quinn from the Suicide Squad movie, and I thought 'Woah. She looks actually pretty cute!' I was actually kind of worried I thought ‘Oh, she's going to look really, really bizarre and skanky' but nah, she's not too bad. So I'm often mistaken."
We also got a look behind the scenes as Canada’s Entertainment City went to talk to the filmmakers.
We also heard from Tom Hardy, former Rick Flagg, who gave the reason why he stepped down, telling Collider his schedule simply wouldn’t allow it and he seemed quite bummed out “Warner Bros. is my home studio and I love them so I was really bummed out. I wanted to work on that and I know the script is really f***ing alley and I also know what’s gonna happen with The Joker and Harley Quinn in that; I won’t give away too much… it’s f***ing alley. And that whole territory is something that I would certainly—I mean, everybody loves The Joker. Everybody loves The Joker. Will Smith is a dope guy, but everybody loves The Joker and that’s gonna, I think, be a very important film for fans.”
Even though he said he’d like to play The Punisher, which I think would be the perfect fit. The fact he described Warner Bros as his home is pretty big and went on to talk about a future DC Comic related project “I actually got something cooking with Warner Bros. which is also a comic book, it’s a DC thing which is kind of… It’s really good actually, it contains elements of all kinds of stuff. From Ocean’s Eleven, to Batman, you can get all the wrappers out and it would be a big, really cool, Technicolor, Pulp Fiction…It’s a psychological f**kfest, it’s absolutely awesome. It’s as if you would take Transmetropolitan and make it happen, but it’s not that out there it’s something which is much more real world. It could be like Heat, it could be f**king awesome. Let me tell you what it is, try and guess.”
Hardy went on to describe it as something which could actually join the DCCU and the TV universe. “It’s already… It’s real estate, it’s PRIME real estate which is sitting there right under everybody’s nose that no one’s really thought about yet and it goes TV and movie, it’s awesome. I can’t believe that nobody has even –I know they thought of it but no one has actually blown life into it yet.”
Finally, we had some some promo artwork of Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman as El Mayimbe dropped the leak and she looks great with her cape and hood.
