Mary Elizabeth Winstead describes 10 CLOVERFIELD LANE filming process as a really intimate experience

03 February 2016

Acclaimed Actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead known for her roles in Faults, The Thing and A.C.O.D. has revealed some details about her forthcoming film 10 Cloverfield Lane.

10 Cloverfield Lane is speculated to be the eagerly awaited sequel to 2008 monster flick Cloverfield and has been shrouded in mystery and talking to Entertainment Weekly, Winstead said "It's so much about just the actors interacting with each other and that tension that builds, just all wondering if they are who they say they are - if they're telling the truth or not and really wondering what's outside.”

Talking about the intimate experience of making the film, she explained "There is this veil of secrecy to it from the very beginning.

We were making this movie in this little bubble where nobody else knew what we were doing, and there's really only three actors in the whole thing, so it kind of felt like this really intimate experience.

Now that it's about to come out, it's sort of crazy - like, 'Oh yeah, people are excited to see this movie'. I forgot that that was going to happen."

Also starring John Goodman and John Gallagher Jr., 10 Cloverfield Lane hits Cinemas on April 8.
