Men in Black III star Tommy Lee Jones says his co-star Will Smith is a close friend
Men in Black III is out now worldwide and Hollywood heavyweight Tommy Lee Jones has spoken about reuniting on the big screen with Will Smith, saying that the Philadelphia born actor brightened the set of the time travel threequel.
Jones reunites with Smith as Agents K and J respectively in the time hopping sci-fi adventure directed by Barry Sonnenfeld and tells The AP that Smith has become one of his closest friends revealing "Will is more generous than anyone, and he spreads joy, he walks into a studio, walks onto a set, and... he makes certain that everybody's happy. He can't help himself."
Speaking of the success of the franchise, Jones cited the natural on-screen chemistry with Smith as the reason adding "Partnerships are good engines for narrative. If you think of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza, the Cisco Kid and Pancho, the Lone Ranger and Tonto. On and on."
Men in Black III also features Alice Eve, Emma Thompson, Bill Hader, Michael Stuhlbarg and Josh Brolin as the young agent K.
Oscar winner Jones has Hope Springs, Lincoln and Emperor in post production.
