Meryl Streep and Robert De Niro set to reunite in The Good House
Following the news that Meryl Streep will join Jeff Bridges in The Giver comes word that she will unite with Robert De Niro for the fourth time in the upcoming adaptation of best-selling novel The Good House.
Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Michael Cunningham will adapt Ann Leary's novel that will see Streep as a New England realtor struggling with alcohol addiction as she falls in love with a straight-talking friend (De Niro).
Cunningham's previous film credits include the Colin Farrell drama A Home at the End of the World and Vanessa Redgrave's drama Evening.
De Niro will return to cinemas with the release of Jon Turteltaub's comedy Last Vegas on November 8 while Streep returns to cinemas with August: Osage County in January.
