Michael Fassbender has to do X-Men: First Class sequel

With Shame coming to cinemas nationwide tomorrow, sought after actor Michael Fassbender has revealed that he a sequel to his superhero hit X-Men: First Class is likely.

He joked with SuperHeroHype that he is forced to return for a follow-up to the superhero prequel saying "I have no choice, they contracted me for two options. I gotta get down with it."

But he got serious and added "We're at the ground level, but yeah I think there's going to be another one."

Fassbender previously said that he was giddy at the prospect of an X-Men: First Class sequel and has said that he would like the film to focus on the story of how James McAvoy's Professor Charles Xavier becomes Professor X.

The sequel is being written by X-Men veteran Simon Kinberg, meanwhile Fassbender will be seen as Carl Jung in David Cronenberg's A Dangerous Method with Keira Knightley and Viggo Mortensen on February 10.
