Mike Myers signs for Austin Powers 4
Austin Powers, the most well known creation of Hollywood funnyman Mike Myers could be set for a fourth instalment according to a recent report by HitFix.
If the report is to be believed, Myers who has voiced the title character of Shrek in the hit franchise has signed onto a fourth outing which will mean the return of the crushed velvet clad spy.
While this news is bound to attract negativity, a fourth instalment could have potential, especially if Myers is back to write it swell.
There is no director, start date or plot details as yet but there could be a ready made villain in the form of Seth Green's Scott Evil who vowed revenge at the end of Goldmember, so we'll keep you posted as this develops.
Myers last appeared on screen in a fantastic little role in Inglourious Basterds and he's got the long awaited Keith Moon biopic still to come.
