Mila Kunis thought Friends with Benefits was dated

03 September 2011

Friends with Benefits comes to UK screens next week, and gorgeous star Mila Kunis has revealed that she thought 'Friends with Benefits' was "dated" when she first saw the script.

Speaking to Stylist magazine the Black Swan star said "When I got the script it was very dated but I knew it made for a funny movie so I took a meeting with Will Gluck. Will, Justin and myself went out to dinner and that's when we realised we wanted the same thing for the movie.

We were able to workshop it, re-write the script and tailor the characters to what we feel our generation is like now."

The Ukrainian born hottie also mentioned enjoying the collaborative atmosphere on the film adding "A lot of the time you go to work then you have lunch by yourself and then you go back to work.

There are those few movies where you actually sit down with your co-star and your director and have lunch together. Three months in, we still enjoy having dinner together and we still go out to dinner in Los Angeles now."

Friends with Benefits is out in cinemas on September 9 and features a star studded cast of Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson, Jenna Elfman, Patricia Clarkson, Richard Jenkins and Bryan Greenberg.
