MINI MODE – London Kids Fashion Week Announces MY K By Myleene Klass And Designers Line Up For September 2019

Mini Mode - London Kids Fashion Week, is delighted to release the full line-up of designers that will be showcasing at its Industry and Consumer show on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th September 2019 at the exclusive, centrally located St Mary’s, in Wyndham Place, York Street.

Leading the two-day runway preview showcasing SS20 and AW19 collections will be My K, designed by Myleene Klass for Mothercare, the 0-10 years old kidswear collection is all about smart slogans, animal prints and monochrome statement pieces, with the introduction of a rich mustard ochre shade for the new season.

“Now in its 13th year, I am so proud that My K is walking for Mini Mode and showcasing our gorgeous AW19 collection”, says Myleene, “get ready for monochrome infused with new mustard tones, strong slogan tees and fun bold prints. My new little man, Apollo has already been sporting the collection and leading the way! Hope your little ones love it as much as we do.”

 

 

Super excited to announce Danish powerhouse Molo to the line-up. They’ll be showcasing their SS20, ‘Different but Family’ Collection. Having dressed numerous ‘A-lister’ kids from Blu Ivy to Suri Cruise, expect to be thrilled.

The rest of the line-up will showcase an eclectic mix of diverse and extraordinary childrenswear designers from around the globe including; French designer Carrément Beau, who draws inspiration from classic Parisian elegance, creating beautiful silhouettes in the finest fabrics for boys and girls up to 12 years old. Another French designer, Billieblush will showcase their colourful and playful girls’ themed collection with reworked princess styling and charming motifs.

Mini Mode is leading the way as a platform for international kidswear brands and this year South Korean brand BEBEBEBE will showcase their incredible contemporary designs to London Kids Fashion Week for a 3rd season. Hailing from Turkey, Melis Kaptanoglu Kids brings a second collection of haute couture designs back to Mini Mode. This self-designed fashion brand creates chic and elegant designs for girls aged 1 to 12 years.

The London Kids Fashion Week event will also showcase luxury French cashmere specialist Oscar et Valentine, Austrian sustainable, gender neutral children brand Me in Wien, USA made-to-measure custom clothing brand KICOMO by Kiara C. Morrow, Canadian clothing and accessories designer Moka Collection, London based cool kidswear Little People London and modern modest kidswear brand ISCREAM will represent the UK alongside London’s award-winning children sunglasses brand Zoobug London and newly launched Riviera Kids, a glamourous swimwear brand created by a mom of 3 girls, Adrianna Melehes.

 

 

More international brands include Kuwait based boho chic Creative Mindz, Latvian colourful Rock & Mouse and Australian hat designer Lorna Murray who has recently wowed the European shows. This completes the busy schedule of designer looks which are set to increase engagement and reach new audiences for Mini Mode – London Kids Fashion Week.

The industry show will be held on Friday 13th September and is open to industry professionals including buyers and press - who will have access to an exclusive lounge - bloggers, influencers and celebrities who will have the opportunity to see the latest SS20 collections. Whilst the consumer show will be held on Saturday 14th September and is open to the general public. Consisting of a matinee as well as an afternoon show, the Saturday event will feature the latest See-Now-Buy-Now collections for AW19, as well as a selection of children’s entertainment, Kid’s DJs kid hosts and interviews in between the show.

Founded by UK childrenswear designer and entrepreneur Amanda Rabor - Mini Mode is about empowering and helping children to improve their self-esteem, whilst contributing a new business and sustainable fashion model for the UK industry that promotes inclusivity on every level. In this time of global social media influence, UK kids need an event, which is reflective of their global counterparts to feel included and be part of the fashion industry - Mini Mode fills this gap.

 

 

“Mini Mode is my contribution to the creative economy”, says founder Amanda Rabor, “as a designer and business woman I want to create a global platform to enable and support incredibly talented designers. As a mother I created the platform to empower real kids and give them a voice and presence in the global fashion world. We rock.”

Mini Mode is supporting the Osteopathic Centre for Children charity and will be donating 5% of all ticket sales to raise money to support the charity and create awareness of the OCC. The OCC provides specialist paediatric osteopathy for perinatal women, babies, children and teens on a donate-what-you-can basis. They also treat older children up to 18 years old with various issues and support families with children with disabilities and learning difficulties.
