Naomie Harris up for Moneypenny in Bond 23

We've known for a while that Noamie Harris who last popped up in Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll was in talks to join the Sam Mendes directed Bond 23, and now comes word that the gorgeous British actress is up for the iconic role of Moneypenny.

As 007 fans know, Moneypenny is the secretary to Bond boss M and has been brought to life on the big screen by five actresses since 1962's Dr No, Lois Maxwell played the character in 14 films, before Caroline Bliss took over for the Timothy Dalton films. Samantha Bond was the Brosnan-era Moneypenny and the character hasn't had her debut in the Daniel Craig films.

If the report from the Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye is accurate then Harris who is a smart choice for Moneypenny would join the cast that includes Daniel Craig who reprises the role of James Bond, Judi Dench as M and the newly confirmed Ralph Fiennes and Javier Bardem.
