Netflix’s Orange is the New Black, Eddie Redmayne and Julianne Moore win big at 21st Screen Actor

The 21st Screen Actor’s Guild Awards aired last night with the Netflix hit series Orange is the New Black leading the way in awards.

The Netflix show, set in a minimum-security women's prison in Connecticut, was named Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series; while Uzo Aduba won the award for Female Actor in a Comedy Series for her role as Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren.

Eddie Redmayne was also among notable winners taking away Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role for The Theory of Everything. While Julianne Moore won Outstanding Performance for a Female Actor in a Leading Role for Still Alice.

The night’s big winner was Birdman taking the top award of Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture award.
