New Indiana Jones movie is being whipped into shape

15 September 2009

A fifth Indiana Jones adventure is in the works, according to Harrison Ford.

The actor first played the whip cracking archaeologist in 1981s Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, before reprising the role in three sequels - the last one being 2008s Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

And it seems the 67-year-old actor enjoyed working on the 2008 film so much he's desperate to play the character again.

He said, "The story for the Indiana Jones is in the process of taking form. Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and myself are agreed on what the fifth adventure will concern, and George is actively at work.

"If the script is good, I'll be very happy to put the costume on again."
