New One Sheet surfaces for Scream 4

01 February 2011

A new poster has surfaced for the eagerly anticipated Scream 4. Other than the dodgy way of writing Scre4m its almost identical to the poster for Scream 3 a decade a go.

It captures the consistency that legend Wes Craven wants for his franchise, since he has always been adamant that this is not a remake or reboot to the hugely popular series.

It is reported that this is the first of two one sheets that will make their way to us, and while its thought the second may be more groundbreaking, speculation is rife that it will be similar to the one sheet of Scream 3 with the '3' in the background with the principal cast head and shoulders.
While it is set to scare at the cinemas from April 15, Wes Craven is reportedly doing reshoots to fine tune the opening murder.

In Scream 4, Sidney Prescott (Campbell), now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey and Gale, who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill (played by Emma Roberts) and her Aunt Kate (Mary McDonnell). Unfortunately Sidney's appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.

Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette return to their roles and are joined by franchise newcomers Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin, Marley Shelton, Mary McDonnell, Adam Brody, Anthony Anderson, Brittany Robertson, Kristen Bell and True Blood hottie Anna Paquin.
