Nick Nolte and Jennifer Lopez join Taylor Hackford’s Parker
The cast of Taylor Hackford's Parker which will see British hardman Jason Statham in the title role has just nabbed Hollywood icon Nick Nolte and comeback queen Jennifer Lopez.
Lopez who was last seen in the critically panned The Back-Up Plan is best known for her role in slick thriller Out of Sight and it looks as though the pop diva and American Idol host is set to return to the genre while Nolte who has starred in films including Cape Fear, The Thin Red Line and Hulk but has recently be seen in supporting roles and lending his gravelly voice to films such as Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore will next be seen in Warrior alongside Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton which comes to cinemas on September 23.
Adapted from Donald Westlake's series of novels that sees a thief who lives by a code of honor that includes never stealing money from people who need it. Hackford is currently filming from a screenplay by John J. McLaughlin for a release sometime in 2012.
