Olympus Has Fallen – Own it from August 26 – Save the President Day Highlights

To celebrate the Blu-ray and DVD release of Olympus Has Fallen, Coventry played host to a special event showcasing the skills professional body guards, teaching people how to save the President/Prime Minister – should the need ever arise! 

The event showed participants everything from weapon handling to room clearance, hostage extraction and building assault teams.

After the training the skills were put to the test when the participants joined a swat team tasked with rescuing the President in a mini white house.  The entire day was filmed and we have the highlights!

Olympus Has Fallen stars Gerard Butler as Mike Banning, former secret service operative and personal friend to the US President Benjamin Asher (Aaron Eckhart), who has been demoted to the Treasury Department but is still within eye sight of the White House. During a meeting between the President and Prime Minister of South Korea, North Korean-led forces mount an attack upon the White House (code name: Olympus), with the President and several of his officials taken hostage in the process.  Banning’s loyalty to the president is put to the ultimate test as he battles to save him.
