In this role based across London and Bristol, Stuart will be responsible for technical operations leadership and staff management for the company’s Operations and Locations team, utilising his extensive experience to further strengthen and support the growth of Evolutions’ premium post-production capabilities, delivering top-quality technical service to both external and internal clients

Evolutions, one of the UK’s leading independent post-production facilities based in London and Bristol, has appointed Stuart Gilbert as Head of Technical Operations. In this role based across London and Bristol, Stuart will be responsible for technical operations leadership and staff management for the company’s Operations and Locations team, utilising his extensive experience to further strengthen and support the growth of Evolutions’ premium post-production capabilities, delivering top-quality technical service to both external and internal clients. 

Stuart has a proven track record in the management of large teams delivering content to leading platforms and broadcasters, and prior to Evolutions, held the position of Director of Operations at Visual Data Media Services. In this position, Stuart was responsible for the entire operations department and successfully directing the launch of a client’s Apple TV channel, one of the first suppliers to do so in the territory, and working with global content providers including the BBC, Disney, Sony and Universal. In addition, Stuart has managed successful relationships with Netflix, Amazon and Google in content delivery. With 20 years of experience in the industry, Stuart has held a number of senior positions including Head of Digital Services at Visual Data Media Services, Head of Digital and Technical Operations at Premier, and experience at further reputable companies including Framestore, Technicolor Creative Services, Dubbs Eyeframe, Metropolis Group Limited, and Richmond Studios.

Stuart joins Evolutions in June and will report to Operations Director Owen Tyler.
