Oscar winner Chris Cooper discusses his role in The Amazing Spider-Man 2
Oscar winning actor Chris Cooper who returns to cinemas with John Wells's August: Osage County has spoken about his forthcoming role in Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Speaking to Access Hollywood, Cooper insisted his Norman Osborn will not appear as one of the main villains in the film, his role will be expanded in the third instalment explaining "This is an introduction to Norman Osborn, and, apparently, this leads to better things in The Amazing Spider-Man 3.
I think it's fair to say that he's on his last legs, and I don't know if I can say anything more."
In the first instalment of Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man franchise, Osborn is described as a man suffering from poor health and doesn't actually appear in the film.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 opens on April 18 and features Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Sally Field, Martin Sheen, Dane DeHaan, Paul Giamatti, Colm Feore, Felicity Jones, Marton Csokas and Sarah Gadon.
