Paul Bettany confirms Vision role in Avengers: Age of Ultron
Following the reports that British acting favourite Paul Bettany who is known for his roe of J.A.R.V.I.S in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has confirmed that he will play the Vision in Joss Whedon's Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Addressing the reports that he'll play the Vision, he said on Jimmy Kimmel Live that the rumours are correct explaining "He can do all sorts of things, but I'm not allowed to really talk about them and what we're going to do, because there might be a Marvel agent in the room who will actually wrestle me to the ground and fire me."
As mentioned, Bettany has lent his voice to the three Iron Man films and Avengers Assemble he continued "Everything's a double-edged sword, because I was playing Jarvis for years, my job was I would turn up at a recording studio for 45 minutes, do all my stuff, they would give me a huge bag of cash and then I'd go home.
Now, it turns out they've found me out and they want me to actually, you know, do something!"
Bettany joins Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Elizabeth Olsen, James Spader, Anthony Mackie, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Don Cheadle and Thomas Kretschmann in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Bettany will next be seen in Transcendence alongside Johnny Depp, Kate Mara and Rebecca Hall on April 25.
