Peter Craig set to reunite with Jennifer Lawrence as he’s hired to write Steven Spielberg’s It’s What I Do

With Steven Spielberg's war drama It's What I Do coming to the big screen, with Jennifer Lawrence set to take the lead role, it has emerged that her The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 co-writer Peter Craig has been hired to write the adaptation of Lynsey Addario's memoir.

The Hollywood Reporter report that Spielberg has turned to screenwriter Craig to adapt the memoir that will see Lawrence as war photographer Addario, one of the few female photographers to travel into war zones in Afghanistan to document on-going crises in the region, her travels into war zones led her to being kidnapped in Libya in 2011.

As well as his work on The Hunger Games series, Craig penned Ben Affleck's crime drama The Town and the forthcoming Mel Gibson thriller Blood Father.

Reports suggest that Spielberg could begin work on his adaptation of It's What I Do after completing his adaptation of Ready Player One.
