Pixels remake coming

It is reported that Adam Sandler has taken an interest in 1980's short film entitled 'Pixels', with Patrick Jean attached to direct the film.

Sandler's Happy Madison production outfit to remake his cult hit Pixels.
Apparently the plan is to create a "Ghostbusters" style comedy action flick, where characters come out of a video game to wreak havoc in the human world. So a bit like Pixels then, only on a bigger scale, naturally - and also as it's Hollywood, it has to be 'like' some other film.
We'll keep an eye on this one, and report on any developments.
