The year is 1934, in the South of England and a reclusive billionaire invites six seemingly random strangers to his  sprawling island estate. One of the recipients just happens to be an intrepid, aspiring detective – Miranda Green (Barton) – who finds the mysterious invitation too alluring to pass up.

The guests arrive at the stately residence, excited and intrigued… But when one of them turns up dead Miranda makes  it her business to find out why they’re all there and who has blood on their hands. Can the sharp and tenacious sleuth solve the dastardly deed and save the other guests and herself from becoming the next victim?
