Production Photos Released Today For Matthew Dunster’s Adaptation Of Harold Pinter’s Powerful Masterpiece THE HOMECOMING

FIRST LOOK AT THE HOMECOMING AT THE YOUNG VIC
Production images are released today for Harold Pinter’s powerful masterpiece The Homecoming starring Jared Harris, Joe Cole, Lisa Diveney, Robert Emms, David Angland and Nicolas Tennant. Thrillingly re-explored by Olivier-nominated director Matthew Dunster, this highly anticipated revival is now in previews at the Young Vic Theatre where it runs until 27 January 2024 with opening night for press on 5 December.
BAFTA Leading Actor award winner Jared Harris (Chernobyl, Mad Men, The Crown, Foundation) and Joe Cole (Gangs of London, Peaky Blinders, The Ipcress File) return to the stage, as Max and Lenny respectively, following major TV roles. Lisa Diveney (Call the Midwife, The Seagull) plays Ruth, and the cast is completed by David Angland (The Pillowman, Doctor Faustus) as Joey, Robert Emms (Chernobyl, Star Wars: Andor) as Teddy, and Nicolas Tennant (The Ocean at the End of the Lane, The Duchess of Malfi) as Sam.

In a small house in East London lives a family of butchers and boxers. When academic son Teddy returns home from America, with a wife his family have never met, a strange power struggle between man, wife and in-laws ensues.
The Homecoming is designed by Moi Tran, with lighting design by Sally Ferguson, sound design by George Dennis, casting by Heather Basten CDG, US casting consultation by David Caparelliotis, voice and dialect coaching by Hazel Holder, fight direction by Kev McCurdy, movement direction by Charlotte Broom, intimacy direction by Yarit Dor and Jerwood Assistant Director is Bellaray Bertrand-Webb.
